Explosive Views of British Muslims?

Follow me on Twitter: @kk_OEG

I returned from my holidays to be faced with a report from the Henry Jackson Society that had commissioned a very specific survey (conducted by J L Partners) of attitudes held by the British Muslim community and referenced those with attitudes of the British public in general.  The results are explosive.

The mainstream media and many commentators seem to feel that this was a huge surprise, but those reading Kapil’s Khichadi would have already known that for decades I have been exposing these underlying sentiments.

So what am I talking about?  What is so explosive that one is rendered speechless?  I have looked at the datasets of the survey, and whilst most commentators have just gone with a few headlines, I will share with you a lot more and do a comparative study to provide a context.

Let’s start with the very basic issue of voting intentions that shows that 61% of the Muslim community would vote for Labour. This is marginally lower than the 72% who voted for Labour in the last election. This is quite a surprise because 56% of the same respondents felt that the Israel/Palestinian conflict would be a major issue for them at the next election. Labour has taken a hit, but in the scheme of things they will accept this and feel they have got away with their stance on Gaza.

Interestingly, 72% of the Muslim respondents felt that Israel was a racist endeavour. Contrast this with the general British voter where only 28% felt that Israel was a racist endeavour.

It gets worse, 49% of the Muslim respondents felt that Israel DID NOT have a right to exist as a Jewish homeland. Basically, echoing the same sentiments as Hamas. Whereas 57% of the British public felt Israel DID have a right to exist.

Astonishingly only 24% of Muslim respondents felt Hamas had committed murder and rape in Israel on October 7th (shamefully 39% felt Hamas DID NOT commit murder or rape). Contrast this with the general British voter where 62% felt Hamas had committed murder and rape.

It actually gets even worse, 46% of Muslim respondents felt sympathy with Hamas (16% in the general population), and 29% expressed a positive view of Hamas (only 8% in the general population). Add to this that 52% felt Hamas attacked Israel because it wanted to forward the Palestinian cause. This raises the issue, for me at least, is there really a difference between Hamas and Palestinians?  After all, those in Hamas come from the families of the Palestinians, don’t they?

It’s not a surprise therefore to find that 74% of Muslim respondents had a negative view about Israel.

Coming back to Britain, 32% of the Muslim respondents would like to see the implementation of Sharia Law here. 57% felt that Halal food should become compulsory in schools and hospitals.  And 32% also felt that Islam should be declared as the national religion. Not sure what King Charles would say about that!

Just these few indicators lay bare the massive gap between the views of some in the Muslim community and those of the British public in general. A headline everyone should take note of, 79% of the British public felt that Islamist extremism is of concern to them.

There is a lot that is embedded in this survey. The underlying attitudes of some in the Muslim community have now been exposed. Some people attempted to hoodwink us by saying that these extremist views were held by a very small minority.  What this survey shows is that quite a significant proportion of the Muslim community hold views that are at odds with the British public, and one could go further and say, very much incompatible with British values.

The legitimate question arises about parallel communities, ghettos, and integration. Mainstream media will conflate this by painting all minorities with the same tainted brush. Let me make it clear, the Jewish, Hindu, Sikh and Jain communities are the most integrated, the most law abiding and the most productive in the UK. It’s time mainstream media commentators had the spine to tell the truth, rather than hide behind appeasement platitudes and rhetoric. Call a spade a spade.

The General Election will not solve any of these issues. In my view, if Labour secures governance, this situation will get worse. Labour is contaminated with appeasers of these extremists. They have even promoted some to their leadership front bench who have championed causes in foreign lands whilst ignoring their own constituents. Can you trust a Labour government to look after the interest of the British public? I await for Keir Starmer to nail his colours to the mast and openly declare that under Labour he will expose the extremists, that he will root out the lunatics on the left who promote anti-Semitism and anti-Hindu sentiments, and that he will not have on his front bench MP’s who are ideologically embedded in supporting extremists here and abroad. His very first step should be to clear out the Shadow Cabinet of such rogues. If he needs help in identifying them, all he has to do is contact me!

Is the End Nigh?

In the past few years, I have been engaged in many discussions with our grassroots, as well as many leading lights from our community. The common theme emerging, what will the UK look like in a few decades? And will it be in a fit state for our community to live safely? What will life be like for our children and theirs in the future?

We may have a British PM of Hindu and Indian origin, however, the dynamics across the nation are driven by Islamists supported by the left.  And I fear increasingly the far-right might have something to add to this toxicity.

The Jewish and Indic (Hindus, Jains, Sikhs, and Buddhists) communities, the most integrated and the most successful, law abiding and the most aligned to this nation and its well-being, are in danger the most.  We have already seen many in the Jewish community emigrate to Israel since it has become increasingly difficult for them to find a safe space anywhere in Europe. I fear the Indic community might come to the same conclusion sooner rather than later.

We may well have national and regional organisations. However, to date their power and influence extends only to attracting politicians for a photo opportunity. When Hindu mandirs are attacked by Islamists, we have seen the inaction of the Police and the politicians. We have seen Labour politicians openly supporting these rogue elements who promote hatred against our community.  This week the ‘Hindu Community Organisations Group’ (HCOG) of Leicester stated that they had no confidence in the inquiry to be headed by SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies) into the Leicester violence against Hindus. HCOG are asking Hindu organisations to boycott the inquiry since those conducting it are considered biased against Hindus. No doubt we will find some Hindus who will side with SOAS against their own community!

Most of our organisations are engaged in covering up cracks. Some in leadership would rather host events and organise photoshoots for self-promotion. We have emerging organisations led by newly arrived NRI’s who have very little understanding of British values, the British psyche, British politics, and the British way of doing things. They might be well meaning and enthusiastic, but they have imported the politics of the Indian sub-continent thus creating a lot of unnecessary white noise, but there is very little of any substance.

I have no objection to all of us promoting India and in challenging those who wish to undermine our heritage. Some of us have been doing this for decades. We can fight for Jammu and Kashmir and expose POJK Pakistani agents embedded in British society. We can challenge the fake Khalistanis whose modus operandi is that of the Islamists. We can have events at the Nehru Centre and the House of Commons – but all of these are to what end?

Ask yourself one question, the way this nation is going, are you confident that your children, and theirs, will have a safe nation to live in 20- or 30-years’ time? Our universities are already in the hands of the extremists with academics whose fulltime occupation is to be anti-Hindu and anti-India. We have got civic institutions that are promoting the corrupt definition of Islamophobia. A definition which by its very nature will bring in the blasphemy law through the back door and stifle any challenge to the evil ideology of Islamists. Politicians and political parties on the left are all rushing to adopt this definition.  If Labour wins the next election, can you imagine the consequences for Jewish and Indic communities should they put that into law?

On 8th of March 2024, International Women’s Day, a formal complaint was lodged before the United Nations (UN) Human Rights Council on the gross, reliably attested, and continuing pattern of the violation of women’s human rights caused by Sharia. Will this complaint see the light of day? The central idea of the complaint is sound. It can even be extended to, is Sharia compatible with democratic processes and the human rights of all? Just as we proscribe terrorist groups, will the international community have the spine to proscribe Sharia?

Last week I showed you that George Galloway was not voted to parliament just because of the Muslim vote. Rochdale is 74% white, which means we now have white Brits who are actively promoting the agenda of the Islamists. You may well say this world has gone mad. Yes, it probably has gone mad, but even worse is the negligence of our community in appeasing to those who wish us harm.  Our millionaires and billionaires are busy spending huge amounts of money on institutions that work actively against us. Our communities are very successful in most spheres of life, yet we have zero power or influence where it matters.  That is telling.  If Indic communities across the world don’t wake up and protect their interest in those countries, they’ll soon realise the future is looking dark.   Is the end nigh? We are not too far off that unsavoury conclusion.  In the words of Swami Vivekananda ji, ‘Arise awake and stop not till the goal is reached’

Gall of Galloway

It seems leap year 2024 has delivered Galloway’s true love – public prominence, adulation from the faithful, and the opportunity to show case his oratory skills. Yes folks, 29th February 2024 George Galloway wiped Labour off the face of Rochdale to become its Member of Parliament.

I am not sure what this says about the people of Rochdale, but then, was this not also the place that tolerated the grooming gangs violating white vulnerable girls? They kept voting for Labour for decades whilst this wholesale abuse of their own girls was taking place right in front of their noses.

The debate thereafter has focussed on the Muslim vote and its power to dictate the outcome of elections. Rochdale was based totally on Gaza, and the candidate that was willing to support the Palestinian cause, as well as the madness of the ‘hate marches’ was given the vote.

Galloway was not shy.  He is never shy. The gall of Galloway being that he openly stated this election was for Gaza. That he stood for Gaza. However, let’s dig a bit deeper and understand if there is anything of relevance that this election showcases before the General Election.

The turnout was ONLY 39.7%, compared to a 60.1% turnout in the General Election.

So Rochdale is predominantly a white area. It forces one to conclude that it was this white area that elected George Galloway. It was this white area that saw white girls being sexually abused by grooming gangs of Pakistani heritage.  It is this white area that has allowed a pro-Gaza candidate to win a by election and be their legal representative in Parliament.

It seems to me the people of Rochdale need to hang their collective heads in shame for allowing this madness in their name.  There is no excuse for not voting. The people of Rochdale cannot abdicate their civic duty by not taking part in such an important by-election and then claim they did not elect Galloway.  There is only one truth, Galloway won the election fair and square.  He became the MP for Rochdale because the people of that town elected him.  It is that simple. How often in history do we have to remind people that often it is their silence and non-participation that allows the extremists and the unsavoury characters in our society to seek out a platform to promote hatred and discord.

There are extremist Islamist groups in the UK that have jumped on the bandwagon of the Rochdale election. They claim that they will control more than 40 seats at the next General Election.  Whilst this extreme element is united, I am not sure the rest of the Muslim community will all ditch their allegiance to the Labour Party. It will certainly fracture that vote giving us outcomes that are difficult to calculate.

At the same time Galloway has stated his party will contest 60 seats.  The Reform Party is determined to contest every Tory seat and take votes away from them.  It seems GE24 will see minor parties who may yield enough clout to take away sufficient votes away from the major parties and put a significant number of seats in state of flux. What you see in the polls might not be representative of what might transpire at the grassroots at election time.

One thing is for sure, the outcome of the next election might be the make or break for Britain. Do we go down the route of a government that is ready to side with the extremists across the world at the detriment of Britain? A government that may promote the ‘hate marchers’ with anarchy on our streets? A government that will pander to the illegals rather than those who wish to respect our laws.  Maybe GE24 will give this nation an opportunity to seriously think about its morals and values, and how these will be respected by all our citizens. That is the civic contract between state and the people.

London Has Fallen

Follow me on Twitter: @kk_OEG

Wednesday 21st February 2024, the day London fell to the extremists in our society. It was meant to be just another day in parliament for MPs to gather, to discuss parliamentary motions, and then vote on them. Something they do every day.  However, on this day no one could have foreseen the madness that would be unleased to send shock waves right across the nation.

The matter was for MPs to agree, or not, with the SNP (Scottish National Party) opposition motion that in effect sought an immediate ceasefire by Israel, adding within the motion some very unsavoury elements that most sane people would never agree to.  It’s the Government’s job to put forward an amendment to counter anything they feel is unacceptable and this they did as per the modus operandi for parliament. The Labour Party, against all parliamentary norms, decided to jump into this mix with their own amendment.  However, for some mad reason that is beyond the wit of men, the speaker of the house Lindsay Hoyle instead of rejecting it, said that he would allow this third motion to stand by breaking parliamentary procedure. There have been many accusations against the speaker, the main one being that this was done to let Keir Starmer and the Labour Party off the hook since significant numbers of Labour MPs were on the verge rejecting Keir Starmer’s position and would vote for the SNP motion. The speaker by breaking parliamentary procedures allowed Labour to offer a third way. A way for most Labour MPs not to vote for the SNP motion and remain united behind Keir.  The speaker in essence instead of being independent, became judge, jury and executioner. Instead of being the independent arbiter, he became the sole governor of the UK.

All hell broke loose. The Government rightly withdrew from this false unprecedented madness created by the speaker. The result, the day reserved for the SNP and their motion was ignored because the Labour amendment was carried.

The speaker was summoned to Parliament to explain himself. He said he was fearful for the safety of MPs and their families.  Astonishing given that the speaker of the British Parliament was now declaring that the madness of extremists (that includes not just Islamists, but also other groups that had joined in) in our nation had reached such heights that the safety of our politicians, and that of our sovereign parliament, could no longer be assured.

By definition, LONDON HAD FALLEN to the lunatics.

This was acceptance at the highest level that our police are now so incompetent, that even the speaker had no confidence in their ability to protect politicians and their families. A damning indictment on where we are as a nation.

How did we get to this untenable position?

The answer is quite simple. This nation allowed extremists in our society to do whatever they wanted to do. We have seen groups like Extension Rebellion (ER), Black Lives Matter (BLM), LGBTIQA+, Climate change, Just Stop Oil, CND, EDL, Islamists, Khalistanis and countless others come out on our streets under any pretence and hold the nation to ransom. We have seen the abhorrent hate marches on our streets proclaiming ‘from the River to the Sea’ openly. A direct threat to our Jewish community who now live daily under the real threat for their lives.  We have seen the madness of Islamists who have marched towards the Indian High Commission championing the illegality of Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Add to this the Khalistanis who have exhibited their own brand of extremism on our streets.  We thought the days of the IRA wreaking havoc on our streets was over. How wrong were we that today they have been replaced by these modern-day extremists.

People have said to me, what will it take for the nation to wake up? They point out the horrors of : Grooming gangs, Trojan horse scandal, British Muslims joining ISIS, London terror attacks, Batley Grammar School, Speaker’s Corner controlled by Islamist thugs, David Amess murder, Post Oct 7 weekly hate marches, more than 700% rise in anti-Semitism, Police ready to take the knee, Parliament terrorised into breaking its own procedures, and the list goes on, and on.

My fear, and this is a real fear, if this nation allows Islamists and others of similar ilk to run riot on our streets, then the day will come soon when the far-right (that has hitherto been contained) will have the excuse to take to the streets with their own brand of madness. On one side we will have the far-right, and on the other the Islamists and their supporters – and I fear most of us law abiding citizens will be caught up in the middle.  The far right doesn’t distinguish between one type of ‘Asian’ and another type of ‘Asian’. To them we all look the same.  The Islamists seem to attack anyone who does not agree with them and their perverse ideology. The Police can’t stop taking the knee, it seems they are spineless against such extremists. Maybe the day is not too far before we see our troops on our streets to provide a visible assurance for our protection. This is Great Britain 2024!

London has fallen because Keir Starmer and the Labour Party succumbed to the extremists. Do you really think this party is fit to govern this nation?

The Benevolent British Raj?

Follow me on Twitter: @kk_OEG

I have heard many people describe the British Empire as benevolent. Especially the British Raj in relation to India. Readers may recall I had written an article in November 2021 titled, ‘The Truth Commission’ in which I explore the damage done to India and Indians by the British.  Thereafter I wrote an open letter to His Majesty, in June 2023 titled, ‘Letter for the King’ in which I champion the idea of a ‘Truth, Reconciliation and Reparation Commission’. It is of course a regret that Her Majesty failed in the time she had as our monarch to proactively take steps to remedy the wrongs of British history. I am hopeful that maybe His Majesty might read my letter again and appreciate, that for each day that goes by the genuineness of any future reparation and reconciliation will be undermined.

It is my contention that the British Raj was the very opposite of being benevolent. This notion, a narrative to over egg the contribution of an occupying brutal force to hide the truth from history is now coming apart at the seams. In the 21st Century, with the advent of modern technology and the capacity of social media platforms, the descendants of the enslaved are rising up to correct history.

Did you know that some 24 million Indians died during the time of the British Raj due to famine alone?  Yes, 24 million Indians literally died due to starvation whilst the British elite in India enjoyed their gratuitous lifestyle of wealth and splendour.

Information from 1860 to 1943 (broadly the period of the British Raj in India) shows there were at least nine famines resulting in millions of deaths.

Table 1:        Deaths due to Famine in India (1860 to 1943) – Under the British Raj

Note, even as the British were in the last few years of their ‘Raj’, millions died due to starvation.

I have always had trouble accepting terms like the benevolent British Raj, or the benevolent Christian God. It has never made sense since their actions showcase only death and brutality.

One wonders how many history books in the UK (or for that matter even in India) talk about and discuss why millions died in India during the Raj?

Please do remember, this number represents deaths by way of hunger and starvation.  To know the real figure of how many Indians lost their lives during the raj of the British, I looked at research conducted by Dylan Sullivan and Jason Hickel titled ‘Capitalism and extreme poverty: A global analysis of real wages, human height, and Mortality since the long 16th century’ in the journal ‘World Development‘. In which they state, “If we measure excess mortality over England’s 16th- and 17th-century average death rate, we find 165 million excess deaths in India between 1880 and 1920. This figure is larger than the combined number of deaths from both World Wars, including the Nazi holocaust.”

To put this in some context, this is among the largest policy-induced mortality crises in human history. It is larger than the combined number of deaths that occurred during all famines in the Soviet Union, Maoist China, North Korea, Pol Pot’s Cambodia, and Mengistu’s Ethiopia.

The benevolent British Raj is anything but that once you delve into the truth of the atrocities committed in the name of their Kings and Queens.

We the living descendants of India that is Bharat today, seek that His Majesty and his Government establish a ‘Royal Truth Commission’ to document one of the most horrendous periods in human history, and the role of Great Britian.

I shall never cease in raising this as an issue time and again. One day, the truth will come out and I hope that not only India, but nations around the world who have suffered a similar historical wrong, may one day get justice.

Was the British Raj benevolent? I dare you to answer that truthfully now.

Bogus Broadcasting Corporation?

Open Letter to OFCOM:

Chief Executive, Ofcom, 2a Southwark Bridge Road, London. SE11 9HA.

Email: Dawes.M@Ofcom.org.uk, ChiefExecutive@ofcom.org.uk

Dear Dame Melanie Dawes,

I write to you as a British Citizen, and as a Hindu of Indian Origin. Over the past two decades it has become increasingly clear that the BBC has failed in its primary duty of being an independent national broadcaster.  Today there isn’t a day that goes by when we do not hear of yet another horror story of a BBC employee who intentionally exhibits their bias against some group in our society. It is not in the scope of this letter to give you chapter and verse, though should you be so inclined to receive a much more detailed report, then I am more than happy to present this to the OFCOM board.

Let me remind you of your duty of care to the British public. Under article 1.13 of your own charter it states, ‘Ofcom may launch investigations on its own initiative as well as investigate complaints’. For the former to take place, one assumes your office is monitoring the media and where you see the dereliction of duty of care by any media provider, you step in. i.e. The charter gives this responsibility to you specifically so you may act on an issue of national interest, even if there have been none or few complaints.

I should also remind you of the duty of care placed on the BBC. The BBC’s mission is set out in its Charter, and it states, “to act in the public interest, serving all audiences through the provision of impartial, high-quality and distinctive output and services which inform, educate and entertain”.

It is my contention that the BBC has failed in its duty by exhibiting a bias against various groups. The Jewish community has already provided you with ample evidence of how the BBC has shown its bias against them.  Similarly, there is now incontestable evidence that the BBC has become a bastion for those politically on the left, and those who subscribe to what is known as ‘woke’ and/or ‘politically correct’ narratives.

I now wish to add to this the clear anti-India and anti-Hindu rhetoric that has been gathering pace within the BBC.  So much so that at the grassroots many people consider the BBC as the ‘Bogus Broadcasting Corporation’.

A present-day example relates to its recent coverage of the inauguration of the Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, India.  This has been the event of the past 500 years. It is steeped in history, often history that is very painful to every Hindu.

The narrative followed by the BBC was to present Hindus who had in effect destroyed a Muslim Mosque in order to build a Hindu Mandir. This was a flagrant lie. A total misrepresentation of history and a distortion of fact to appease to the Islamists.

The facts were simple enough to present:

  1. The Muslim emperor Babur destroyed a Hindu mandir and built a Mosque (Babri Masjid) in its place. This act of ethnocide was enacted to subjugate Hindus.
  2. It is fact that KK Muhammad, a Muslim archaeologist, confirmed in his research findings that there was overwhelming evidence to show that a Hindu Mandir once stood where the mosque was built.
  3. It is fact that the highest court in the land concluded that the desecration that took place historically on the site must now be righted and gave permission for the new Shri Ram Mandir to be built.

The world rejoiced since a wrong of history was finally righted.  However, anyone following the BBC coverage would have thought otherwise. As I have already said, there are many examples of the BBC acting in a manner that many describe as anti-India and anti-Hindu.

Is the BBC institutionally racist? Does it deploy its resources to undermine certain communities? Does the BBC undermine the human rights of Hindus (and one could add, Jews, Sikhs, Jains etc)? People are now concluding that the answer is a firm yes.

I believe the time has come for OFCOM to rise to the responsibility the British public have allocated to it. It is time for OFCOM to be proactive and protect the British public from biased broadcasting done at the taxpayers’ expense.

I ask you to instigate such an investigation into the work of the BBC. Is it really the British Broadcasting Corporation?  Or is it as the public feel, the Bogus Broadcasting Corporation?

In my view it has failed to act in the public interest, serving all audiences through the provision of impartial, high-quality and distinctive output and services which inform, educate and entertain.

I hope OFCOM will not fail the British Public now.

Feeling Good – 2024

It’s a new dawn,

It’s a new day,

It’s a new life,

For me,

And I’m feeling good.

For many of you, the lyrics of the song ‘Feeling Good’ can inspire you into the new year with great optimism. In a world that seems to be in perpetual self-destruction. A world that appears to find new ways to galvanise its inhumanity. A world where greed and intolerance have become virtues for some.  A world where hate replaces love, anarchy replaces peace, injustice replaces righteousness, and a world where violence is seen as a legitimate first step to ‘reconciling’ difference. It can be difficult to get up in the morning and feel good.

However, for me regardless of any immediate issues or problems around me, around the nation or around the world – I wake up feeling good. Some might think this is madness, but for me feeling good is a state of mind.  As an individual there is a limit to what I can do to change the world.  I may strive to affect change via Kapil’s Khichadi, or via my public speaking, or via the daily tasks one performs. The easiest thing I can do is to affect change within, so that how I see the world around me is seen through eyes that seek out the nuggets of gold from the rubbish of human envy.

Yes folks, it’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life for me, and I’m feeling good in 2024.

2024 will bring forth utter madness in the UK as we work towards our general elections. Keir Starmer appears to be running away with the election, but will Jeremy Corbyn and the Muslim community throw a spanner in the works and dismantle Labour’s plans for total victory?  Time will tell.

For PM Modi the future looks bright. He represents a global leader who puts nation first. Whilst I have often questioned the rate of change over the past 9 years, there is no doubt that PM Modi is a breath of fresh air not just for Bharat, but also for the world. In 2024 with the inauguration of Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, he sends a signal to everyone that India is Bharat first. The ills of the past, the corrupt narrative of history written by invaders will be corrected, and the true custodians of Bharat will rise up and lead the world into a new era. I am feeling good, of course I am.

This dharmic energy affects the world as well in a positive way. A brush with PM Modi and the PM of Italy, Giorgia Meloni has become a fan. Other leaders in Europe who have mischaracterised India are now seriously looking at their own imperial prejudice that gets in the way of them being on the right side of India. We hear that President Emmanuel Macron took less than a second to accept the invite from India to attend as chief guest of honour to mark India’s Republic Day.

No sooner will Shri Ram Mandir be inaugurated; PM Modi will travel to Abu Dhabi to inaugurate the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha Mandir. For the Middle East this is a genuine crossroads in history. Whilst Abu Dhabi leads, the rest of the Middle East lags significantly with many nations openly hostile to India and Indians. Maybe this seed of love, peace and reconciliation can encourage the growth for better relations between nations.

In America, a nation of extremes, the madness continues. Will President Trump 2.0 be in power? The answer is yes if they allow him to stand. As it is, every public institution is currently engaged in every tactic to stop the former president from standing for the highest office. I suspect the drama has just started. Will President Trump be feeling good in 2024?  Time will tell.

Israel has shown the world, enough is enough. It has given a response to the Palestinian terrorists that redefines the scope of what a nation can to do to defend itself and its people. India should take note, as should India’s neighbours!

In the age of Kali, we must strive to find our own nirvana. Feeling good is a state of mind. Whilst everything around us goes mad, it’s up to us to seek out the shoots of positive energy. Be the change ourselves and do our karma with steadfastness.

A happy new year to all of you. Have a great 2024.
